Last weekend Brother Ryan Curry competed in at the Portage Lakes Triathlon. After shaving 11 minutes off of his personal best for a time of 2:30:42, he won his age group and came 6th in the overall competition. He told us, “Life is no fun if you don’t give yourself a little challenge.” This was quite the little challenge! Congratulations Ryan!
Check out these brothers ushering in the newest class at Case Western!
Every two years, Sigma Nu Brothers from across the world meet for our Grand Chapter, and every two years, Delta Alpha has another rewarding experience with our national organization, and our Brothers from across the country. But the real excitement this year came in the form of two honors for Delta Alpha. The first was our fifth overall and second consecutive awarding of Rock Chapter, the highest award for excellence that can be given to any collegiate chapter of Sigma Nu. The second honor was really two, as both Brothers Matthew Holdren and Lucas Flowers were initiated as honorary members of Sigma Nu’s Alpha chapter at Virginia Military Institute – otherwise known as Alpha Affiliates. Only 10 collegiate members from across the country are awarded this honor every year, and Delta Alpha could not be more proud of these two Alumni. Congratulations again to Brothers Flowers and Holdren (DA1352/A621 and DA1323/A622 respectively) and thanks to Will Oldham, Charlie Topel, and Matthew Gardner for being the voting delegates for our active and alumni chapters.

We can’t wait to do more service for Community Greenhouse Partners!
Yesterday evening we inducted new Knights into our Fraternity and affirmed our graduating Knights. We are glad to cap off another successful year at CWRU and cannot wait to see what the future holds for our Fraternity!
This last weekend the Active Chapter had their Brothering Retreat! Candidates were paired with their Big Brothers and the chapter reaffirmed their ties of brotherhood. We can’t wait to do it again next semester!
